Well, what started out as a quick trip to Barnes and Noble ended up as a family day out. Keep in mind that they are across town and in reality they are across the next town. I was wanting to look for some books to learn some stuff for work and thought I would try the library first but no luck. By this time it was lunch time and a stop for some pizza and then to Barnes and Boble. After a while there with still no luck on the books we decided to head back home but the boys all fell asleep in the van.
The boys never nap good after they fall asleep in the van first so I dropped Misty off at Once Upon a Child to look for some summer clothes for the boys while I stayed in the van with them. Still asleep after she was finished, I stopped by CompUSA to look some. By this time, it was to late to go home if we were goign to go to church tonight so we went to get some ice cream and then to church.
One more stop after church, WalMart and finally home. We left home around 9 or so in the morning and got back around 8. It was a good day out. It was the first weekend in church where Misty and I could worship togheter since the first of January. I have had to fill in some in production for all of February so it was good for us.
Next weekend though, dropping the boys off at the grandparents while we go to the Smokies for a aniversay weekend getaway.

Day Light savings time
Are you ready for the change? I know we are making sure at work that we are prepared for the DST change this year. In case you have been hiding under a rock, the date for daylight savings changes this year. Instead of the first Saturday in April, the time will spring forward during the second Saturday in March, a full three weeks earlier and will end a week later in November.
Things from calendering and scheduling has the possibility of messing up to any time sensitive documents having the wrong time stamp attached to them.
I am beginning to wonder if the extra daylight is worth it.

Where did they go?
I read where Google Reader is going to start reporting all subscribers to feedburner and decided to do a quick check with Feedburner on my subscribers. My number on feedburner went from 15 to 6. It seems that all of my subscribers who use Bloglines have disappeared. Oh well. Maybe they will all come back later.

What a kick in the... well anyway
I keep my keys wallet and such in a basket in a drawer downstairs. For the last couple of days when I get my stuff there has been something in my way and I just keep moving and it keeps falling back down where it keeps me from closing the drawer all the way.
Last night, I was looking for the USB cable for our new digital camera. I hunted high and low for it and finally I found it. Yea, it was what was in my way. Arggh :)

I tried. Really I did
Ok. I was having an issue or two with Firefox. Nothing major, but enough for me to upgrade IE to 7 and give it a shot. After a week or so, I am back to Firefox. Just to many things I like about Firefox that I have gotten used to that I just couldn't switch. I know Firefox is gaining market share, but how much of it is people like it better or that after using Firefox for a while, you can't get switched back easily?
I about never got my favorites moved back over to IE from Firefox. Moving to Firefox is easy. Just let it import and you are all done. Going back to IE, not so easy. I wonder if Microsoft made it easier to switch back, how many would do so? Just a thought.
A lot of my issues with IE could be fixed with some plugins, but how much time do I really want to spend moving back to IE. None now. Maybe I will try again later, but for now, I will stick with Firefox.

Great testimony
Congratulations to the Colts on their Super Bowl victory over the Bears. It was great to hear Colts Coach Tony Dungy proclaim Christ as the reason for their team's victories this season during his interviews on national tv. Great testimony coach.

Great quote
I heard this on tv tonight.
"Maybe my cell phone company should quit worrying about putting movies on my phone and work on letting me make phone calls"
Couldn't agree more.

Willow Podcast Part 2
Well early last year I posted about running across an xml file on Willow Creek's website for a podcast. Well a friend of mine told me he found their podcast on iTunes the other day. I search Willow Creek's website and found the link again and put it into Juice and got several files listed. I thought great. I loaded one into my mp3 player and listened to it on the way home from Barbourville on Sunday.
It was a message from Mike Breaux and it was a very good message. So good in fact that I wanted to listen to the rest of the series. I mean he mentioned in the sermon that it was the last in the series so it had to be a series. So, I looked at the rest of the files in the podcast and none of them seemed to connect to it. So, I started searching for the sermon on the website and finally ran across a newsletter that mentioned the series starting. Back in July. Man, that is just so not funny. So, I guess now I will have to debate on if I want to purchase the rest of the series or not. Bummer as I can't see how I can just download the mp3 version.

Husband tip
Just a quick tip to you husbands out there. If you are driving a truck where the gas needle doesn't work and you think you need gas on a night where your wife is hosting a cookware party. STOP AND GET GAS!!! It's not pretty. In the words of Forest Gump. That's all I have to say about that.

Leak testimony
Just finished watching the BCS title game between Ohio State and Florida and Fox was interviewing Florida Quarterback Chris Leak. Leak had taken off his jersey shoulder pads and written on his t-shirt was "I can do all thing through Christ"
I don't know much about Leak but an awesome way of showing your faith knowing the number of people watching at that moment.
